Welcome to my new blog! Although my old blog served me well for quite some time, I am so excited to be in this new space! A special thank you to the Furious Photographers for offering this amazing blog template that I could customize away to my heart’s desire. And thank you to everyone who’s been following my blog so far – your input and encouragement is what makes blogging so much fun!

– In addition to my new website, I started a facebook group! Join if you’d like and feel free to add me as a friend too!!

– I haven’t mentioned it on here yet, but Scott has been working hard on his own business! Visit Miyako Designs to check it out! He started his business to fuse his two loves, music and craftsmanship (I KNOW he tried to incorporate me in there as I’m obviously the most important love, but I can see how it just didn’t jive). He specializes in beautiful wooden amps, although he makes the more commonly seen covered ones as well. If you know of anyone who is looking for a killer custom guitar amp/cabinet just let me know!

– The Furious Photographers have launched a new project entitled Tofurious as a resource for other photographers. Their first project is an awesome awesome blog template… for free! Definitely something I’m going to be looking into (oops, did I just say too much?) I believe this week they’ve launched some album template designs as well!

Okay enough with the exclamation marks (!!) and back to our regularly scheduled blogging.

I could not be more excited to share with you the launch of my new website! It’s been in the makings for awhile, first with random ideas stirring in my head, then lots of research, and finally, hours spent in front of the computer, really trying to make this website the best, most accurate representation of me and my photography. This is something that has been present in my mind from the first baby steps I was taking into my business, and the fact that it’s FINALLY HAPPENING makes me feel so happy and thankful for everything I’ve experienced along the way.  I especially want to thank all the photographers who really lent a selfless hand to me to help me learn and grow, and to all the awesome people who have been following my blog and encouraging me along the way. Thank you!
