{ vicky + brian | long meadow farmstead wedding }

Such a beautiful Napa county wedding! This was one of those days – from the moment I picked up my camera until the very end of the night – where every single moment and every single detail was just perfect. The little bed & breakfast where Vicky & her bridesmaids got ready, that they had entirely to themselves? Perfect. The amazing nook with sun-dappled light we found for the first look? Perfect. This dreamy ranch & farmstead as the venue? Perfect. The ceremony officiated by a close friend, the playful lawn games, the cheerful clinking of glasses, the cozy campfires & smores to end the night? Oh, so, perfect.

But the truth of it all? Is that each and every one of these things was really made perfect by Vicky & Brian’s love, and the love extended to and from their friends and family there. It gave life & meaning to each pretty detail and each passing moment. Because when you have a love like this, your wedding day is most definitely guaranteed to be amazing.

{ lauren + jarrett | calamigos equestrian wedding }

How sweet is this wedding? Lauren & Jarrett held the most perfect summer nuptials at Calamigos Equestrian, a venue I had never shot at before but instantly stole my heart with it’s cute white cottages and relaxed rustic vibe. Lauren and Jarrett have been together for years, but it struck me how fresh and youthful their love feels, like that honeymoon spark has never left :) On top of that, they were surrounded by so much love and support from their family and friends {the photos of Lauren and her mom below are some of my favorite from the whole day!}

It was such an honor to be there to witness this beautiful wedding :)

{ kristen + tristan | beverly hills backyard wedding }

When I first accompanied Kristen on a visit to the house where the wedding would be held, it was still in the process of being built. There were mounds of dirt, and construction crews, loose frameworks of buildings – but I could tell even then, with the open lot & rich wooden beams & gorgeous views, that it would be one beautiful wedding location.

But seriously? I still wasn’t quite prepared for how amazingly it all came together in the end. The house belongs to their aunt and uncle, and as they put it, to have the wedding held there right upon it’s completion, and to have it filled corner to corner with the love that was present that day, was truly a special thing. The tangible beauty of the location and details was only surpassed by the emotions that ran deep throughout the day – Kristen & Tristan have a love that is so so inspiring, and it was mirrored in the smiles & words of every guest there that day.

I would also like to say, that this wedding and the photos you see below, are exactly why I recommend doing a first look. Logistics and timelines aside, these moments like the ones you see below alone are worth the decision. To be able to hold each other, and laugh through happy tears, and have a quiet moment just to savor the day together, is such an amazing thing.

{ Special thanks to Heather from LVL Events for introducing me to this wonderful couple, and planning & coordinating each and every bit of the day you see below! A second thank you to 24 Carrots for their coordination and delish eats! }
