{ Liz + Adam | La Venta Inn Wedding }

I left my very first meeting with Liz mentally crossing all my fingers (and toes) that we could work together. She was so super sweet, so excited about her big day, and planning the most beautiful & intimate wedding {see the proof in the pudding below}. At our meeting, she spoke adoringly about Adam & their relationship and when I met him at their engagement session I saw that her words rang true – they are honestly SO perfect for each other and so in love!

They were married last month at the stunning La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes. I love shooting in PV – the views are spectacular and it always feels a bit like home (probably due to all the Saturday mornings we’d drive up there from Torrance for ice skating lessons.. 7 years baby!) The La Venta Inn is probably one of the most beautiful on the hill with amazing architecture, gorgeous grounds, and the loveliest bride’s room – I most definitely have a soft spot for pale pink walls! They matched perfectly with the blush color palette that was expressed in all the elegant details of the wedding, including what were some of prettiest & most stylish bridesmaid dresses I’ve seen {from J.crew!}.

A big thank you to Tim at La Venta, one of the best on-site coordinators we’ve ever worked with! And of course to Liz & Adam… thank you for choosing us to document your beautiful July wedding & for just being you – I’m still in a bit of a tizzy that we get to work with such kind & amazing people!

The photo below was taken in Liz & Adam’s home – I was slightly obsessed with their pastel vintage piano which turned out to be a Valentine’s gift from Adam. Can we say best V-day gift ever?

On the way to meet Adam for their first look…

Partybooths provided lots of photobooth fun and was a hit among the guests!

{ Linda + Chris | Orange County Wedding }

From our very first meeting, Linda described a beautiful clearcut vision for her wedding. She wanted to maintain certain traditions while incorporating a fresh style – bright pops of pink & tangerine, a chic birdcage veil, dapper grey suits for the guys (with matching grey chucks – my fave of the chuck colors!), an awesome live band (and MC/DJ who also happened to be THE most amazing Michael-Buble-ish vocalist.)

With no detail left unturned, Linda & Chris could really kick back and enjoy the day, which flowed beautifully, especially with Shana of East West Event Productions on hand to coordinate. We’re so excited we could be there to document their perfect summer wedding!

The lush florals were all designed by the super sweet Cindy of Floral Elements. I’m so in love with that vibrant pink shade of peony in Linda’s bouquet…

How cute are the flowergirls in their sherbet-colored outfits?

After the ceremony we headed to UCI for portraits. I always love shooting against natural & green backdrops and adored this grove of trees!

{ Jenny + Jerry | Los Angeles Wedding }

Jenny & Jerry had the loveliest yellow-hued wedding last month! June gloom kindly stepped aside for a sunny day that matched the vibrant color palette they chose for the wedding. The whole occasion had a warm relaxed feel that perfectly ushered in summer!

I looooved working with the team of vendors they put together – the day was beautifully coordinated by Ryann of Hustle and Bustle Events, the lush florals were designed by LV Florals, and stunning video was captured by Joe of Today’s the Day Weddings {I always love working with Joe, he’s a great videographer and his unobtrusive style meshes so well with ours!}

Jenny looked gorgeous in her lace gown, which she had altered to a beautiful custom design of her liking…

Love the sweet sachets of lavender they gave as favors & the lovebird cake topper! The amazing cake was created by Jeseca Creations.

For the reception, Jenny changed into THE most amazing dress – I love the soft green color & whimsical feel!

Near the end of the reception, Jerry surprised Jenny with a sweet rendition of “Wonderful Tonight” that he had been practicing on the guitar. It was such a heartfelt moment:
