Silvia and Brian were married at the Hyatt Huntington Beach this summer and it was a most elegant & lovely affair. There were tons of well thought out details, but I was especially enamored by her beautiful lily-of-the-valley bouquet – it was one of the most delicate & pretty bouquets I’ve ever seen! I was also so excited to work once again with my friend Uyen of Sassy Girl Weddings, since any day touched by her coordination magic is sure to be both relaxed and fun!
This was one of my last weddings of the summer, but stay tuned for lots of pretty autumn weddings to come next!

Oh I could have photographed this beautiful couple around this pretty neighborhood all day! The Venice Canals are such an LA gem and I always find myself daydreamining about living in one of those homes, with their own little docks and of course a canoe (can’t forget the canoe!) We meandered around the walkways and these two just made my job so so easy.
They were married at Cafe Pinot just a few weeks ago and I can’t wait to share their romantic urban wedding next!

This amazing little family – I can’t even begin to tell you how overjoyed it makes to have been able to document so many milestones in their lives. I still remember my very first meeting with Dawn to discuss her wedding – we talked about travel, and bicycles, and food (so much about food!) and I seriously walked out of that meeting feeling like we were old friends. I had the opportunity to photograph their engagement session and wedding, then maternity portraits when Dawn was carrying little Ryder, and this session, where they’re expecting their second little boy. He’s since arrived and I couldn’t be happier for them!
At the last moment, Dawn decided to bring the teepee from Ryder’s room, and I loved how it turned out in photos! :)
