Could you tell I was just a little obsessed with Silvia’s perfect flowy dress? I feel like college campuses always make such great backdrops for sessions (so many options in one place, not too crowded) and Cal Tech in Pasadena was no exception. I especially loved the dreamy staircase we found which complimented the romantic feel of it all perfectly! Can’t wait for their wedding this summer!

Dear awesome couples like Janet and Jeff, with your ideas of wearing a perfect tutu {Janet used to do ballet!}, of bringing giant pastel balloons, and sparkling fun confetti: thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer! I can’t express how much I love whimsical and romantic sessions like these and always get so giddy when our styles & visions match so well. I loved all the ideas they had & the Pasadena City Hall proved to be the perfect place to bring them to life. The cherry on top – Janet and Jeff are seriously one of the most fun and laidback couples ever, I felt like we laughed through the whole 2 hours!

How sweet is this engagement session? I’m forever a sucker for pretty pastel tones and love relaxed sessions like these, complete with a bouquet of wildflowers, a perfectly flowy dress, and a super fun couple! We shot against the prettiest lake backdrop in Orange County and they made my job so so easy :)

They’ll be getting married at The Loft on Pine (a hip new venue, literally down the street from where I live!) this fall and I just can’t wait!
