I first met Nicole & Jeremy over some lattes in Long Beach along with their wedding planner Uyen, and seriously for the first hour of the meeting, I don’t think we even talked about weddings or photography. We just… talked. We talked about food, and travel, and the south bay (where we grew up!), and then some more about food, and it seriously just felt like catching up with old friends. I was of course beyond excited when they chose me as their photographer and knew their wedding and engagement session would be more of the same – lots of fun conversation & good belly laughs :)

We wandered the prettiest spots in Venice – the canals, Abbot Kinney, and of course the beach, where we greeted with that unreal sunset at the end. Such a fun session!

With this formula you really can’t go wrong – rolling green hills, wildflowers 6 feet tall, a so-in-love couple, and that flowy dress! Add it all together with a good dose of pretty light, and you have the most romantic session. Paola & Josh came to me wanting soft dreamy images which are exactly the type of photos I love to make – I’m so thankful for these awesome couples where our visions so perfectly align!

I had so much fun meandering through these fields with these two and can’t wait for their wedding with Samantha Scott Events at Hummingbird Nest Ranch this fall!

You can really never go wrong with a dreamy tutu skirt, a quiet beach, and a cute couple like Carrie & Terrence. We had so much fun frolicking around the shores of Malibu, sneaking in some shots with their sweet husky pup as well :) These kinds of sessions are always my favorite – relaxed, lighthearted, and with a big dose of whimsy thrown in.

So excited for their wedding at Oak Canyon Nature Center in just a couple months!
