Susan and Ken are a couple that has made such a big impact during my years doing photography, and that I always think of with so much fondness and gratitude. I feel so fortunate not just to have photographed their engagement and wedding, but also lucky to have been able to stay in touch with them afterwards, thanks to the wonders of facebook and instagram. It’s been two years since their beautiful wedding day, but we managed to follow along on each other’s adventures this way and I was beyond ecstatic to learn that they were expecting. And even more excited when they contacted me to do a maternity session! These two are seriously some of the kindest souls you will ever meet, and to be able to document another milestone in their lives is such an honor.

Susan and Ken – congratulations! Can’t wait for the arrival of your little one!

I’m always overjoyed when past clients contact me – even moreso with the good news that they’re expecting – and especially when they want me to document it! It’s an honor to be a part of so many great milestones :) Angela & Fong brought along their first baby to the shoot, a little corgie named Ruby, who proved to be just as sweet and photogenic as her parents :) I had so much fun catching up with them and am so excited for them & this next chapter in their lives!

I love maternity sessions! Payal & Amit have actually known each other pretty much their entire lives, having been family friends since childhood. I’m sure at that time they had little clue that they would ever date, let alone fall in love, get married, or be starting a beautiful family together :)

They brought just a couple things along to personalize their session, my most favorite being a teddy bear {that will be a gift for their daughter when she arrives} wearing a shirt with a photo of Payal & Amit playing together as kids. Love!
