{ Brittney + Joey | San Diego Wedding }

Brittney and Joey held a super sweet celebration earlier this month. It was wonderfully relaxed, laidback and full of so much joy – as I was sorting through the photos, I realized how brightly Brittney and Joey were beaming in every.single.one! Brittney & Joey shared an emotion-filled First Look which gave us lots of time for fun bridal party and family photos before the ceremony, and enabled us to focus on romantics of the two of them afterwards (among the prettiest smattering of bougainvillea flowers, my favorite!)

The day unfolded beautifully and finished with a sparkler exit at the end of the night and a surprise Brittney’s brother put together for them – a classic Bentley, rented for a stylish getaway!

So cute & clever how the little flower girls had wands instead of a basket or flowers… such a unique idea and they loved their “magic wands”!

Brittney & Joey have 7 brother between them, all of which they included in the bridal party. Love this shot of Brittney & the guys:

{ Kim + Danny | Prado Wedding }

We’re back from New York and I’ve been playing a mad game of catch up the past couple days! I have tons of photos to share from both the dreamy Central Park wedding & our own adventures around the city, but in the meantime, I’m super excited to share this lovely April wedding!

I first met with Kim & Danny on a summery evening last July, a meeting that turned into a 3-hour long conversation about their wedding, travels, food (sushi!), and beautiful relationship. There were points in our meeting where I almost teared up hearing their stories – of overcoming obstacles & hardships together, of their favorite memories – they unmistakably share one of the strongest and most unbreakable loves I’ve witnessed. I walked away afterwards SO excited to work with them and immediately proceeded to call Scott to gush about our meeting & the fantastic couple I had just gotten to know :)

Their spring wedding was elegant, romantic, & full of love, and the rustic Prado in Balboa Park was the perfect backdrop. Special thanks to Alicia of Bellini Events for flawlessly coordinating the day!

Kim is such a classic beauty…

I loved the bright flowers each bridesmaid wore in her hair…

… as well as their plethora of amazing red shoes!! If I could have one of each in my closet, I would be a happy gal :)

{ Andrea + Taro | Prado Wedding Photography }

Andrea & Taro are the type of couple that makes me want to pinch myself to see if I really get to work with such amazing people – they are all kinds of sweet, fun, kind, and totally-and-madly-in-love! I loved getting to know them throughout their whole wedding experience, from our initial meeting, to their personalized & memorable engagement session, to the beautiful and heartfelt wedding. Their wedding day at The Prado in San Diego was my most very favorite kind – the kind that told their story and showcased their personalities at every turn. During the ceremony, they shared the most beautiful vows, blending little inside jokes, loving memories, and honest promises into phrases that reminded everyone how precious it is to be marrying your very best friend.

At the reception, they incorporated a travel theme and filled the room with details of their journey as a couple and the places where they created their fondest memories. And since we were already in San Diego the night before their wedding, Andrea & Taro kindly invited us to join them in their rehearsal dinner, which gave us the opportunity to share in even more of their wonderful wedding experience.

Andrea & Taro – thank you for inviting us to document your wedding and for treating us with warmth and kindness every step of the way. Your wedding day was the most beautiful celebration of love & joy and we are honored to have been a part of it!

Andrea & Taro had the sweetest first look:

I loved the light we had in the Alcazar Garden:

Their wedding was coordinated beautifully by Jenn & Kristie of Evenity, Inc who ensured all the details were taken care of. Like these AMAZING miniatures! I could have taken photos of these all day:

Each table had a different color arrangement and featured photos & a story from a location that they had visited together:
